Holiday home Le Vieux Moulin is on a beautiful spot in the middle of the Belgian town of Dalhem. The river rushes right in front of the facade. You will discover trouts swimming from trough the living room windows as fly fishermen hit their lines out on the water. Next to the house a narrow steep road leads to the medieval town leaning against a mountain. The house is composed of a mixture of stones from river, like most homes in the area. Inside the owner made a warm, sturdy base with paneling from old wood and a floor of ancient tiles. The cozy interior include ‘trouvailles’, discoveries from the famous Belgium flea markets nearby. The comfortable kitchen has a XL stove and next door in the dining room is an all-warming pallet stove. Just outside a hottub can be filled up for a starlight open air bath. Upstairs in the romantic bedroom under the wooden canopy awaits a sauna. Painted driftwood with fish and seafood made by the owner give this holiday home a personal touch.
