The beautiful and green Tuindorp Oost Watergraafsmeer in Amsterdam that is where Joyce and her family wanted to stay. In May 2013, they finally found after a long search his former school building. Far too big for the only two households they initially started with. No bank would help finance such a project. They have contacted a project developerand they continued together. Joyce and her family choosed to live in the former gymnastics hall. Initially it was no more than a shoe box of 127m2 and very high. It is very tempting to build this full with several storages , but the art is to achieve a balance between spatiality, light and vision, on the one hand, and security, usability and the human size on the other. They are extremely happy and proud of the result.
