Alie has been living in this house with her family for more than 20 years. It was definitely not love at first sight when they first laid eyes on it – in fact; it wasn’t a house to their liking at all. Still, practical aspects of their lives influenced the decision. Now the children have flown the nest, and both house and garden look very different compared to 20 years ago when the family bought the place. The house has been furnished in a very French style with lots of original furniture and interior. Alie swears by light, calm colours. The garden is a chapter in its own right and it’s obvious that Alie’s sense and passion for interior design has been brought into the garden as well.
