Living in a renovated old squarely-built farmhouse is the ultimate dream of many Flemish people. Together with architect Xavier Donck, Marie and Pol catapulted a decayed farm to the twenty-first century and returned the property to its old charm. Marie and Pol chose Xavier Donck because he could give a modern touch to a rural interior. Thus the dining room and the lounge are quite classically addressed with molars, panels and cabinets that used to be thought of while the kitchen is very contemporary.
